Late Summer 2024

• Adult beginning/intermediate wheel throwing Evening Classes, 5:30-7:30pm

4 week class July/August 2024

Tuesdays July 23rd - August 13th OR

Wednesdays July 24th - August 14th

These adult wheel throwing classes are a mixed level class for beginning students and students who have some experience. The classes will focus on centering and basic throwing skills. Clay prep, trimming and glazing will also be covered. My classes are small group classes consisting of 4-5 students. They take place in my studio, #419 at Mainframe Studios 900 Keosauqua Way, Des Moines, IA. All materials, tools, and firing costs are included in the materials fee. Please bring an apron and old bath sized towel to class. $155 class + $35 material fee = $190

Late Summer 2024

• Adult beginning/intermediate wheel throwing afternoon class, 2-4pm

4 week class session 3:

Thursday July 25th - August 15th 2-4pm

This is an adult mixed level wheel class consisting of beginners and people who have taken some classes before. We will cover wheel throwing basics. I will teach you how to prep the clay for the wheel. Students will learn how to center the clay, and basic throwing skills.  Instruction will also include trimming pottery and glazing the pieces. My classes are small group classes consisting of 3-5students. They take place in my studio, #419 at Mainframe Studios 900 Keosauqua Way, Des Moines, IA. All materials, tools, and firing costs are included in the materials fee. Please bring an apron and an old bath sized towel to class. $155 class + $35 material fee = $190

After classes end in October I will be taking a break from teaching to focus on holiday production. Classes will resume in mid January.

* I have a conflict for the class on September 26th. Please plan a make up day on Monday Sept. 23rd at the same time, 1:30 - 4pm. If this day/time does not work for your schedule we can schedule another time. *
